I went to school at The Academy of Beauty and wanted to write to say what an incredible experience I had there. I am a musician and about half way through school I got very busy making an album and so there was a long period of time when I wasn’t at school at all. My teacher Maya loves and cares about her students so deeply, and I am convinced that she is the reason I finished. She would check in to make sure I was alright, and ask me what days I would be at school. When I feel behind, she would work with me to catch me up, and finally when it was time to take the state board, she made sure I was ready. She was the first person I called when I passed. I just wanted to write to say thank you to Maya, Tim, and Alicia for everything!
