I am a recent graduate of Academy of Beauty and preparing for my state board exam. If you are looking for a great Esthetician Program that provide you with hands on experience and proper state board prep, this is the one. I researched numerous schools and most of them just didn’t seem right. I visited Academy of Beauty in September 2011 and Tim the Director of the school made me feel very comfortable and welcomed when I took a tour of the school. The class size are small so you get a lot of one on one attention. The teachers have been there over 10 years and have a lot of knowledge. Whenever you need help you can always count on them.
Since I first started the school has made some major improvements and is starting to feel more like a spa environment. We have a steady flow of clients so you get a lot of hand on practice. This school also teaches you how to wax and goes into depth with brazilian waxing which most schools don’t. We have tons of demos from skin care lines ever week so you are educated about different treatments and products that are currently being used in the industry. Overall I can say my experience here has been nothing but a positive one. Academy of Beauty will not disappoint you.
