The Academy strongly encourages its students to participate in the State Board approved Externship Program which allows eligible students to extern in an approved Salon or Spa establishment. An extern student may assist or perform hands on practical operations and earn limited externship hours in this program. The Academy has over 100 well-established Salons and Spas participate in the Externship Program. Here is a sample of these Salons and Spas:
