The Academy of Beauty is an I-Train certified and approved Training Provider to qualified applicants. If you are a Displaced Worker or currently collecting Unemployment Benefits you are a qualified applicant.

If you live in the city of Santa Monica, Hawthorne, Lawndale, Inglewood, El Segundo, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, Gardena, Carson, or Los Angeles AND/OR meet one of the following categories:

 

-Displaced workers through no fault of their own.

 

-Displaced homemakers (recently divorced).

 

-Collecting unemployment benefits (Federal or State).

 

-Low Income Family.

 

You may qualify for tuition assistance through the US Dept. of Labor’s Employment & Training Administration (ETA) job training programs http://www.doleta.gov/programs/ to improve the employment prospect of adults, youths, and dislocated workers. Specifically, the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) program http://www.doleta.gov/programs/general_info.cfm aims to increase the employment, job retention, earnings and career advancement of U.S. workers.
